IPR’s ethics policy, approved by the Board of Directors, has been designed to ensure that IPR operates to the highest standards.
IPR’s ethics policy is based on four ethical principles:
- Acting in accordance with laws and regulation
- Establishing a culture of integrity
- Behaving fairly and honestly
- Respecting others
IPR’s ethics policy has four key features:
- The IPR Ethics Charter, the principles of which are further applied in policies, procedures and processes under the leadership of the IPR managers
- Oversight by the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee and a Board Member specifically charged with following up on IPR’s ethics and compliance activities
- A dedicated ethics and compliance activity at the level of IPR HQ and a network of ethics officers throughout IPR
- Instruments for ethics reporting
